Abstract Painting; a Process

I've been working on this painting over the course of a few weeks. Originally I wanted to make it just a chalkboard, but that idea didn't really pan out. It would have been one lumpy chalkboard. So I said, "Okayyy, I'll go make art instead," which turned out to be a pretty good idea.
In this post you'll see three stages of this painting. The hardest part about abstract painting is definitely knowing when to stop. :)
